My inspiration......

The first book I remember reading was from Beatrix Potter. I was immediately pulled in. My mama ended up buying me the complete set. Each time I met a new character I was transported into her magical English world where everyday animals took on the human like behaviors I felt they really possessed in life. Her inviting watercolor creatively inhabited my imagination and I was captivated by every word. I have read each book more times than I could count. She is one of the greatest driving forces behind my desire to write books for children.
