More inspiration...... why animals?

I was recently talking to my friend about my writing and I mentioned that I found it interesting that the writing I was the most passionate about was talking animals. Little Bear was a show that aired on Nick Jr for years. it was one that I loved above all other shows of its time. Why? I realized its because animals never disappointed me in life. Many times other children or family could hurt my feelings or make me feel excluded.... but animals never did! I would talk to animals all the time and I swore they understood me. So its no surprise that I would choose tales of my farm animals to convey messages to other children who felt the same way I did.
